Today we mourn the passing of Francis R. Carroll, one of Worcester's great philanthropists, who was instrumental in the renewal of Federal Square and creation of the Korean War Memorial. He will be remembered as a champion of small business, veterans affairs & community service.

The Fall Leaf Collection Program for 2024 will begin on November 4 and typically takes approximately 4-5 weeks to complete, depending on weather. Please visit the Fall Leaf Collection page for current routes and a collection map.
Practice the 5 D's of mosquito protection during the months when mosquitoes are most active - Dress, DEET, Dusk, Dawn and Drain.
As kids prepare to put on their costumes and roam from house to house on October 31st, parents and neighbors should keep in mind that their presence on the road and around homes requires additional caution.
The Worcester Public Works Department operates three yard waste drop-off sites for all Worcester residents, open April through November.
